Choosing Joy in Closed Doors

We are supposed to always rejoice in God, but is that even realistic? God wouldn’t tell us to do something if it weren’t possible. Joy is a choice, and we can choose to step in to joy every day. In this series we’re looking at some of the things that try to steal our joy, starting with part 1, how to have joy when doors are closing in your life.

Sermon in a Sentence: We choose joy when we learn to see through God’s eyes.

Main Scripture: Proverbs 3: 5-6 (NIV)

⁵ Trust in the Lord with all your heart
and lean not on your own understanding;
⁶ in all your ways submit to him,
and he will make your paths straight.
